just bought new tires, how to remove the adhesive

I just bought new tires last night and there seems to be some adhesive from whatever they took off the tire (maybe from a tag or something) what would be good to remove this?

Is it on the tread or wall? If on the tread it will be gone soon on it's own. If on the wall I would just attempt some tire cleaner.
