Just a quick update

So, as I have described we have a full blown water ban on. So I can't wash the Acura.



BUT, it have a brand new PC, 3 new yosteve towels, and a Pinnacle Souveran starter kit. SO I HAVE TO DO SOMETHING!



The Mercedes is clean in the garage in winter storage but feels a bit rough to the touch. So in the course of 20 minutes , I clay, PC with SMR twice, PC with PPCL, AIO, AIO, SG, SG, SG, and Souveran.



Do I wash with dawn in between? No. Do I wait for anything to dry properly? No. Do I let the SG set before Souvering (a word?) over it? NO!



I was so impatient to do SOMETHING that I whipped through all of this on 1/2 the hood in 20 mins.:scared



The results? Okay, I guess. Certainly not great. But it was fun!



It's just funny how you spend all winter reading about the right way to do it and you (or at least I) get impatient, ignore all procedures and let it fly!

To answer some of the common questions and hopefully assuage some feelings/concerns.

1) If you placed an order and it is stocked you will get it. I know not getting a confirmation is unsettling but this has less to do with us going out of business and more to do with the servers crashing.

2) Blackfire is not going to go away. Several people have asked if they should stock up and while we would like you to, it will live in.

3) Several plans are coming together to keep TID alive and well; and as normal as possible. I cannot promise anything (I don't even know) but keep posting and keep enjoying if you will.

ive never tried blackfire sealant or the paste wax. i gotta get me some of that.

First off, as a new poster let me say that I'm sorry to see this happen. If Blackfire is not going away (and I'm glad to hear that), do you know where we'll be able to continue purchasing it? I'll be in good shape for a while because I just purchased a 64oz jug of the Wet Diamond, I'm just curious. Thanks.

Thanks for the update Todd. Can you tell me if anyone is responding to emails that were sent to PAC? After receipt of an order I placed I first called with no success and then sent an email to try to get an issue with my revised invoice sorted out. Should I expect a response from PAC or is there no longer a man at that desk?
