Joyriide Detailed: Jaguar Super V8 and then some

joyriide1113

There is no cure!
The top story here is the Jaguar Super V8. Owner does NOT wash it. Figures its white and it can go a while without, heh. Swirling was light to moderate, the real enemy here were the water spot etchings. They were deep! One round of M95 did not remove them completely, although they did knock out the swirling and rids very quick. Two shots of M95 were needed on most of the horizontal surfaces, but other than that, the job was fairly easy. This is the owners daily driver for work, so other than some light stains on the drivers leather seat, and dusty consoles, the interior was immaculate.I could have even gotten away with not vacuuming the back seats, but of course I still did. I used my 4000 grit mesh fabric again, this time I used it on the wheels as well. WOW!. NO marring or scratching what so ever on the chrome. They smoothed out the surface very well and left them AMAZING. I could not pick up any scratching what so ever under both Brinkman and Halogens. This is definately something I plan to order a big roll of and send out samples to non-believers. Something I had a problem with was cleaning the mats on this car. They appear to be sheeps wool but they were reallyt matted and the hairs were long enough to hinder my use of scrubbing and extracting. I ended up just combing them out and fluffing them with a mist of glass cleaner.

Mind you, this is after washing, claying and sanding, anf the friggin' spots are still there, even on the hood ornament.

It was a fun weekend. I really enjoy posting the work online and getting feedback from other detailers so please feel free to question or comment.

As all have said in previous posts...GOOD JOB!!

Is it me or does the Jaguar seem to have a more elegant look than all the other vehicles? The interior shots were most impressive to me.

The bonnet shot of the Jaguar emblem really captivated my imagination.:bigups

I agree. Looks very elegant. That engine is very powerful as well. Paint was top notch quality too.

I agree with everyone else, excellent job. Did you get a new camera? Either way, what are you using for a camera? They look great.
