Joining the PDTA

I was planning on joining the PDTA and was wondering how many of the professionals that frequent this board are members, and if so, do they find it a worthwhile organization to be a part of?
 
I joined the 1st year.



They're having some internal problems last I saw. For what I paid, I didn't get what it was worth back. all I got is some stupid little stickers and patches...
 
Yeah, I assume it's hard to get something like this started. But man do we (professionals) need some type of accredidation process, as the hacks are running rampant!
 
I think it was worth it, in my customers eyes. I just had 2 people last week call me saying they saw me on the PDTA site and got my number from it. It's only $75 we're talking about here, I made double that on the first job I got from it.

Really? I would have never imagined their listing would actually generate business.
