This hot little hatch needed some correction and protection! Car was full of minor swirls, scuffs, and some heavier scratches. The wheels were very hazy from improper use of wheel cleaner (too much dwell time), or a very acidic/heavy duty wheel cleaner.
Interior was in good shape, just needed a cleanup and the leather coated.

The ‘details’:

Washed with SCG Pro shampoo.
Clayed via Griot’s medium mitt.
McKee’s37 Iron remover.
Adam’s wheel cleaner.
Adam’s tire and rubber cleaner.
Misc. brushes/etc.
Dried via Master Blaster.
Lighting by Scan Grip.
DeFelsko PTG.
Rupes MkIII 15, Rupes iBrid.
Beta test/prototype wool pad. (this thing kicked _ss and left the surface almost LSP ready)
Rupes yellow pad for finishing/enhancing.
Beta test/prototype compound. (it’s incredible)
Griot’s perfecting cream.
Griot’s correcting cream was used to polish the wheels along with Rupes blue and green pads.
Misc. MF towels.
Optimum panel wipe for final wipe down.
22ple Mistico Elemento Forte was the LSP.
22ple VM1 on calipers and wheels.
Ranger Quickjack for lifting duties.
Adam’s tire armor was used for the tire dressing.
McKee’s37 glass cleaner.
Metro vacuum.
McKee’s total interior cleaner.
GYEON leather shield on interior leather bits.

Thanks for looking!

Wheels were stained/etched/cloudy from improper use of wheel cleaner or the incorrect cleaner.

After correction:

Seems like all I ever do is comment on all the detailing products and equipment that you are (and have!) beta testing (What else is new, Captain Obvious!)
Now its a compound and wool pad. Can I assume they were made for each other, or is that too much information to divulge and breaking confidentiality agreements as a beta tester. Anyway, your short, positive, comments are piquing my interest (again).

And as usual, the best cars in the world are detailed by the best detailers. This Mini is unique and it looks fantastic.

Oh yah, that Nikon camera reflection tells me a lot about your photographic skills as well. Between you, Mike Lambert, and Merlin, you all are top-notch photographers that are as good as your detailing exploits. Thanks for sharing the pics. Like New York Yankee`s baseball manager Yogi Berra said many years ago, "It ain`t braggin` if you can do it."

Thanks everyone!!!

Lonnie: Pad and compound were not made for each other, however they work wonderfully together!

Wow great work even broke out the 22PLE.Then you pull secret agent grade switch arue pull that out.You like them shaken or stirred James.LOL looks great Doc

Thanks everyone!!!

As stated, we`ll be waiting for the hopefully soon release date and availability of these detailing products. Keep us informed when you can.

Awesome work and write up and pictures as always Scott!

I`ve always told my brother he would suit to have a Mini Classic or a newer one LOL. He has gone with Renault 5 GTE and Peugeot 205 GTI but would`nt listen to my advise to get a Mini LOL.

This modell is a little monster. And know it looks as it goes too!

Very interesting beta testing you are doing. Seems to be great products.
