Jngrbrdman may have lost his mind...

So far so good. I've had a chance to use it a couple of times and so far no new scratches. I'm going to wash the car again tonight so it has a chance to get dusty tomorrow. (dear god... did I really just say that???) I'll keep you posted after I've had some time to use it.
 
Alrighty.... Anthony admits he was wrong. This product does not pick up dust very well. I don't see it scratching anything up yet, but It definitely just moves the dust around on the car.

My car was clean today, but it was pretty windy. Since I park out in the south 40 it tends to get my car a bit dusty. Particularly on the back end. So when I got home tonight I tried dusting off the back. It just keeps moving the dirt around into piles and not really picking it up. This is definitely not the tool for dust removal. It works well on light dust. And I mean really really light dust. Like 'it was sitting in the garage overnight' light dust. Or maybe for 'driving around on a non windy day' kind of dust. For removing dust on a car sitting out in the wind for 8 hours I have to give it two big thumbs down. You are all invited to the tiki party. :D
 
Ok, there will be cake and beer. Just be prepared for watered down Utah beer. BYOB if you want the good stuff. :dnaughty We'll have a good old fashioned "Damn, this product sucks" party. Weeeeeeeeeeee!
