Last Sunday the Jaguar Car Club I’m in had a club show at a local pub. It was not a Jaguar Owners official sanctioned show, just a club get-together.
My car was not in pristine shape. I had spent darn near all day Saturday cleaning the wife’s Nisan Quest. We had driven it to Houston and Galveston the weekend before so it was very dirty, inside and out. So, Sunday morning I got up to wash my Jaguar. It was not very dirty as it had been in the garage most of the week.
I used PB Super Slick with Wax and dried with a leaf blower and the Air Wand attachment. Tires got a wipe down of Pinnacle Black Onyx Tire Gel and the wheel wells received a spray of GC Bare Bones. Glass was cleaned with Surf City Glass Cleaner.
Then for the topper! Since it was going to be next to much nicer Jaguars, I went with Souveran Paste Wax. It goes on and off so easily and leaves such a nice finish.
I snapped a few pictures of some of the cars. A couple of people brought other cars they owned such as a Lotus. One gal brought her friend’s Ferrari. A couple of people from the Pantera club brought their cars. I was too busy drinking beer to get pictures of a beautiful red 1973 Pantera before it left. Drat, it was splendid.
Here are some pictures from the event.
