Jack was on Sirius radio!

Arctic -- LOL

Now, my office manager, who pays my bills, came to me the other day. She pays my credit card bills and does the accounting, too. She had totaled up the "car care" expenditures and came to "have a little talk with me." First, I thought the numbers were wrong . . . they were pretty big. I think its one of those, "a little here, and a little there" phenomena, where, a little bit of something, often, adds up to a lot of something over time. Uhh, and then I went out and got the $40 towels. But, they were on sale! So, it was OK, right? ;)

You Did The Right Thing!! You certainly cannot be expected to pass up towels that are on sale - that would be crazy.

My problem is lack of space to put all of the stuff. Hah, I remember the days when I yearned for my first garage. It was a beautiful double wide with a house attached. It was magnificent.

Then the family began to grow and so we began to search for a larger house. She who writes checks says to me what are you looking for in a house, my quick reply was a three car garage! Now even with this it is full of motorcycles and one small car leaving no room for her to park the minivan.

So you see what I really need in all practicality is a large garage on the sideyard. This will allow space in the real garage for the minivan. So really I need a new garage because I want to do something special for my wife. Anyhoo that's my logical and unbiased assessment.

David- I agree 100%, detailing the vehicles involves a relatively minimal investment and keeps me at home where I can both watch my daughter and engage in a hobby. Very little static from the wife on the detailing supplies.

<strong class='bbc'>Can you give up the details? Where can I get those towels at 2 for $12.00? Thanks. [/b]</blockquote>
Sorry Arctic, the sale is over. It was a 1 day 'home sale" last Saturday at Boomingdales and they were selling towels at superdiscounts. The bathsize Charismas were 7.99 each or 2 for 12 dollars. Can't get any cheaper than that. Darbh told me about it...that's why I posted that response to him. At least we still have that online fieldcrest outlet store.

Gimp -- that's great

Intermezzo330I -- yes, fantastic price

Arctic -- Thanks for the reinforcement (I wonder if they offered beatings at a "80% discount, but for the next three hours only" if we would all run down to get one?) Sorry you did not get in on the action. The sale was a one-day only. I think the special credit at fieldcrestoutlet.com may still be going on.

Jack had the great pleasure of doing a radio interview with Betsy and Kim at Martha Stewart Living Radio on the Sirius network this morning.
It was a live broadcast.
Jack discussed a number of aspects of cleaning your ride.
We're just so stoked that Jack, and the ProperAutoCare name, was heard by so many people.
Martha has a website for her Sirius show.
Here is a URL to the radio show's page.
Following our own rules...it is not embedded as a link.

Congrats Jack!

Small update, it looks like the show will be re-broadcast sometime after midnight tonight, and possibly larter this week. Check the above website, and use the Radio Schedule link in her nav links on the left side of the page.
