It's a Ferrari, it's red, it's got Zaino + Souveran...

wooaaah!!! but for red.. i always think clearkote then natty's.. any reason you went z2 pro ?

Ya, I wanted the durabilty. I thought about RMG/NB, but that's 6 weeks if you're lucky. Since I had Souveran on hand I just decided to go with the longest lasting sealant I had then top with Souveran (which looked very nice in person).

Interestingly that paint color is the rarer of the two Ferrari reds. It's called Rosso Corsa, which means "Racing Red" because it's the color of all the Ferrari race cars. It's actually got a very distinct orange hue in person.

woahhh that is the deepest red color i have ever seen. WOW.

agreed, the paint just seems to glow. I must say this is the best red car Ive ever seen. If I had a red car Id really contemplate picking up z2 and souveran :wow:

I have one question. I thought you lost the durabilty of Zaino if you topped it with any Carnuaba, so why did you choose to top it? Please for give I am no Zaino expert

Sorry I didn't see this question earlier. In my experience you don't loose the durabilty of Zaino when topped with a carnauba. In fact I like topping it quite a bit. I'll definitely watch the 575M, but in the past I've not experienced a durabilty loss when topping Zaino; you just can't add more Zaino until you strip it all.

Cheers.

could you just strip it with AIO? And why did you choose Z2pro over Z5pro. Im still confused about the difference. I know z5 has some fillers but looks better on darkers, right?

AIO would strip both the wax and the sealant, so you would have to start over anyway. I didn't have Z5pro at the time (got it two days later), but I'd have still used Z2pro since I didn't need fillers and the car wasn't black and I was topping with Souveran. I used Z2 more for the durability than the look; I could have switched that step with FMJ or Wolfgand DGS, or EX-P, or SG, etc... I just wanted the durabilty. If I was leaving it with a sealant only I'd have gone with Poorboys EX or Z5pro (if I'd had it).
