I had a colonoscopy when I turned fifty. You're out for the whole procedure, so it wasn't bad. The hard part was fasting the day before and drinking that gallon of "special" beverage they give you to drink.

I already had two colonoscopys and im 47 and that stuff you drink is called golightly and who ever came up with that name has never taken it, that's for sure.:eek:

I don't really know. All I could understand of our conversation is that everything looked good except my Colusterol level :huh:

Flash if your going for a colonoscopy you have nothing to worry about it's not as bad as it sounds.They knock you out and you don't feel a thing. IS that what your going for?

No, next Thursday I will be detailing his car and running it thru inspection :)

He just wants me to do this butthole thing sometime soon :(

His definition of Soon probally differs greatly them mine :redface:
 
The only part that stinks is drinking that stuff. Some docs do it with pills so you don't have to drink it. But if you do drink it go for the flovored kind.
 
Good luck with your upcoming procedure. I work in a pharmacy, so all my patients tell me the joy they have when it comes time for their turn to be "inspected".

p.s. are you a pharmacist? Maybe you can help me out. I am hearing conflicting reports(both here and privately) as to if 106 is a bad # to be at Da Rules!

Maybe I won't have to lay down the stoogies and donuts afterall :partaaay:

Sorry Gordon I am not a pharmacist yet, but I am a pharmacy tech. From what I know if we are talking about LDL (the bad cholesterol) then I believe under less than 100 is great, and 100-129ish okay. I think your doctor will probably tell you limit those treats :(

Yes, durabio I do recall him using the word Bad Cholusterol...I didn't know there was such a thing as Good Cholusterol :D

So, are you going to Pharmacy School? Thats a Great profession. Its good to know we have medical staff aboard here @ Truth In Detailing ;)
