I apply the old NXT liquid with Collinite 476S at the same time. Or should I do the coats separately? I do it all by hand.

While I can't give you any scientific reason, I think I would apply them separately. I would also follow the instructions for each product. I don't remember if the original NXT Tech Wax needed any cure time befor putting anything over it. Personally, I would give any LSP at least 12 hours before putting something over it.

I agree with Charles also NXT is to be kept dry out of rain for 12 hours.
