Is This Nattys Wax Toast

Re: Is This Natty's Wax Toast

Did any liquid form at all? That's very strange.

Do you happen to know the wattage of your microwave?

No liquid at all and I have no idea about the microwave. The wife would know, but I'm sure not going to ask her. Also, the container sure got hot.

One other thing I did notice that may be nothing. The entire outside label looks like oils leaked into it.

Re: Is This Natty's Wax Toast

You can see the oil on the label here. Don't know if it seeped through the plastic or what. I do store all of my supplies in a pretty much controlled environment.

Re: Is This Natty's Wax Toast

are you starting and stopping after two minutes cook time or just cooking it for six minutes straight?

Re: Is This Natty's Wax Toast

That's very strange to not have anything happen at all. Carnuaba wax itself will melt down and I assure you that has not evaporated out of the jar.

The comment with your wife had me lmao hahaha

The jar will indeed get very hot and yes the label will more than likely get ruined like that I presume it is the adhesives in the label or it could be oils from the jar or wax inside.

Like steve mentioned was it a continuous 6 minutes or was there stopping?

Re: Is This Natty's Wax Toast

Checked it at 2 minute intervals. Was going to go for 6 straight minutes but the microwave was starting to smell funny.:o Had to give it a chance to air out before the wife came home.
