Is there are professional body workers?

Hi Everybody! I would like to start here a new discussion about bumpers repair. I work in professional body repair and looking for colleagues, who want to share experience in bumpers repair. First question: how do you repair a bumper cracks? what materials and technology do you use for?
Second: i've got a lot of problems with repair with metal grid, all kind of grids. I will post some pictures of bumpers repaired with grid and how it looks after some less time. Who had similar problems? and what did you do with that?

that being said, I have a small amount of experience with being in a body shop. 3M makes some excellent bumper repair products, I'd start looking there

I don't do bodywork anymore, but based on what i learned while doing this & school , for something like that destroyed lip/section on that black bumper i'd consider the following (some in combination with one another of course):

*fiber glass
*flex plastic filler
*Plastic welding,ensuring you have the proper compatible plastic composition to ensure better bonding
*3M repair kit(s)
*lots of patience and finessing.

I remember i used to help a neighbor who had his own custom body shop modifying bumpers and (example)making a Honda look like a Toyota(cars looked very cool believe it or not with the mixed custom features) and whatnot,but he would experience constant customer returns and re-work(bumpers cracking constantly) because he would work too fast & use too much plastic filler(and even mix it with shredded news paper!) .

IMO the key thing for me before tackling something like this would be thinking about applying materials that will be flexible enough to absorb the vibrations from the vehicle/road. I wouldn't feel comfortable using too much plastic filler,so i would take the time to get that(if using fiber glass was only option) fiber glass as close to the rest of the bumper's surface as possible. Laying down filler too thick can cause issues down the road from what I've learned and witnessed.

I'm sure there's better/newer technology to handle this compared to what i was aware of a few years ago, but i hope this gives you at least some type of starting reference point.

You are so right! This what i'm telling to my clients and collegues all the time. I have my own technology for such repairs:

repair quality is not inferior to factory specifications! and it is still a cheapest materials for bumpers repair that i know.

I am a professional body man for 35 years, and I would throw that mess in the dumpster . That bumper cover is readily available either new, used, or reconditioned. Used and reconditioned for @ $100.00. Not sure of your location, but nothing you could tell me would justify that mess. Plus, your repair will not hold up. I am sure the cost of the "repair" materials exceeded the replacement cost. Just stating facts.

1. You are pushing your product, Alexander Kuznetsov, and are not really attempting a discussion about anything but your product. By the way, "your product" is replacing your product name. Maybe I should put it in if anyone ever does a google search on your product it may direct them here first.
2. This is not a body repair website or forum. I really don't know what would lead somebody to just randomly join a detailing site to see if there are bodymen here.
3. Your links. This kind of ties into reason "1" but not quite. If you want to spam for product purchases then make them a little less obvious and a little more normal. If you're trying for SEO, you're doing great. Though with how much you're spamming it the page may get ignored by the search engines. Good call on the forum I suppose though, search engines would probably group all automotive together for link relevance.
4. All eight of your posts are in this thread. No introduction thread, no other forum participation whatsoever.

Now, if you are here for relevant discussions (and I doubt you are), you can just ignore this post. In the meantime, I'm hitting report and I'll let the moderators decide.

Sorry if my thread disturb you in any way, but i dont feel myself like a spammer. At firs, i started this thread from honest description of my goals, and my goal is to keep contact with a collegues and share an experience in a bumper repair. My experience is my technology and as i see my technology and materials are unique. If for you it is not interesting to get learn me and my technology it doesnt mean that nobody interested in it. I like to learn different meanings about problem that you saw on a pics, but if my arguments are on pictures and in videos then i have to share a link. At the moment everybody tired from spam, belive me, me too! But how you think we shall share an information else? Spam is information that you personally get without asking it. I didnt ask you to read this thread. This information that i share here could be useful for professionals, who have same problems. And belive me, I know that a lot of my collegues are looking for solution. I didnt hide my name, because me is me, I'm producer and inventor, Alexander Kuznetsov = Alex-K, there are no secrets no need to be a genius to understand it. But also I'm a body man with a 17 years experience and i have something to say. I already helped to lots of my collegues and just a privat person who had a problems with bumpers repair. I already got a tipp to search another forum, but who knows maybe here could be somebody who find this thread usefull. I offer again to anyone to share experience, i can give some tipps, like i already did many times, maybe i will learn here something new, i'll be glad to get here an usefull information too! We are here to speak with each other, isn't it?
