Is Pete's 53 by chemical guys supposed to be hard and dry like dry chapstick?

I had to scrape slivers of it out of the container with a plastic spork and put it on the applicator pad because it is so dry.

Also, has anybody waxed their car and then a few ours later somebody decided to scratch, key, or rub something against your car to leave a black streak?:LOLOL

The Pete's 53 is on sale on their website. Maybe that is why it is on sale. It is dry and old.

Also, I think the Fed Ex guy might be the one who messed up my Escape after I waxed it. He left my package (Pete's 53 ironically) at my door and didn't even knock or ring the doorbell. My rearview mirror was turned clear out and had a scratch on it. I got the black streak off the paint with a cleaner wax, but there is a slight dent in the vehicle where the streak was.

hmm no "stig" like comment....

i've never had it be that dry. its usually pretty easy to work with. last tub i got seemed a bit off from previous ones, didnt give that much clarity and depth as it used to

I used it on an expedition and a cayman s today and it worked great. I would call them and tell them what your problem is. They might send you a new one.
