Would you spend $30,000 on car wax? Zymol thinks so.

How much do you typically pay for a jar of car wax? $10? Maybe $20? How does $30,000 sound? No, that?s not a typo, but it is what automotive wax producer Zymol is charging for its Solaris Glaze car wax.
Said to be a personal formula that is "developed by the owner for the owner," the wax comes in a pyramid-shaped solar-activated container, though we?re not entirely sure how that makes it better. Only 25 containers of Solaris Glaze will be produced andeach includes a gold mixing spoon and is refillable for life. Still, we suspect that you?d have to wax the Sultan of Brunei?s rumored 1,000-plus car collection about three times a day to get your money?s worth out of this stuff. And no, this isn?t an April Fool?s joke, just seems like one.

David Posted on: January 12, 2011 9:05 pm ReplyOkay i work at zymol and this is well worth it the technology in the pyramid is awesome you put all the ingredients in the pyramid yourself and put the container in the sun and the top of the pyramid magnifies the sunlight thus melting down your wax and mixing the formula together and it is a great wax because its 79% carnauba wax by volume making it the highest quality and all 25 sold out so obviously a good product

another ridiculously stupid excess ? did I mention McMansions?
whoknows Posted on: April 1, 2008 10:24 pm ReplyMost of the oils in this stuff would probably rust out your vehicle first.
whoknows Posted on: April 1, 2008 10:20 pm ReplyAgreed.
adidascrosscountry Posted on: April 1, 2008 8:41 pm ReplyWow? Another worthless item catering to the bottle-service clientele.
