Is Fusion really ALL THAT?

So... Yeah, I know how the product fads go. The thing is, I keep hearing all this great stuff about fuzion. I hear that it cures exceptionally well to other sealant products like UPGP as well.

My thing is, the price is OUTRAGEOUS!!! I was reading on here that they had a BOGO sale on them for $100? That's $50 ea? But they are $175 ea normally? So... Am I looking at the right stuff, or are they just ripping us off most days of the year?

Does this stuff dust at all? What is the process to put it on? Would it work as a last step over UPGP or Zaino or Wolfgang???

If anyone has an extra tub of it laying around I could work up a trade :hifive:

I have a tub of Pinnacle Souveran Paste that I have only done one car out of. Still have the little velvet pouch it came in too. I could swap that out if you are interested.

And yes, for the nitpicker out there... I will post a trade offer on the classifieds in a bit.

Fuzion is very nice. I don't know about it being worth 175 though.

I just used souveran for the first time this weekend and imo it looks better than fuzion on my silver. If it was my choice I would keep the souveran.

I think fuzion beats souveran in the durability department but that's a moot point for me since I re apply things pretty often.

YES look for my posts i have been throwing down fuzion on the last 2 i think. it is very. I got like 15 layers out of one tub so far and im not even half way threw it! goes on nice. it doesn't need a cure time and comes off great. it leaves a nice finish, and smells sexy! lol it semlls nice.

Well it's $175 for 2, they send you 1 and when you run out you send it back for a 1 time refill. Is it worth it? If you can afford it then yes. Fusion and now Souveran are past the price point that I am willing to pay for wax. I love Souveran on the wife's Fusion but not at $95 a tub, I'll wait for a great sale when I need more.

The BOGO sale for a $100 bucks was because it was frozen and had some cracks. No, it does not dust and yes you can use it over UPGP, Zanio and Wolfgang. It's a good wax, but for the money I would get P21S 100%.

Love Fuzion is it worth $175 I dont think so but when they go on sale or sells for $50 or $100 for 2 it is worth every penny.

To the OP......only if YOU think so. Personally, there isn't an LSP or sealant, available that I'd pay more than $50/$75 for. Just not enough of a visual difference for me IMO/IME.

I agree. Acrylic Jett, Zaino, Meguiar's #26, NXT 2.0, Collinite 845 are all less than $20. I just don't see improving much on these. I'm sure it's a decent product, but I'd rather save the $155 difference and put it toward pads and polish.

+2. My own cutoff point is $50. No ifs, ands, or buts. I recently splurged on the BOGO on Fuzion at Autogeek and topped off My red Prelude VTEC with it. It did make seem to make it look wetter than when I had Souveran on it. Personally, I thought it looked better than Souveran, but only by a little and I think it probably had more to do with the fact that I did my best polishing job yet before applying Fuzion.

I would love to take you up on your offer to trade Fuzion for Souveran, but I still have two tubs of Souveran I bought a few years ago on a BOGO sale when they were still "only" $69. One is unopened and the other was used twice.:)
