Is EZ Lug worth it?

Hmm.. I suppose I need something else in addition, or just the piece of pipe again if I run into another situation where the nuts are on way too tight. I'll need to do some homework about the best kinds of torque wrenches for these situations also. That I don't have at all.

bill..i was kinda joking...your contribution would far exceed mine...you already helped with my car cover decision (even though i didnt get the noah or WS ..got the superweave)

the "beauty" that accumulator posted is all you need....

looks like the one i have...makes the job soooo much easier

for ex....i put all my body weight on the oem wrench and the lug wouldnt move....grabbed the Tshaped and removed it with ease

I have 2 of those, needed a piece of pipe over one in order to break last time I used it. I suppose ta breaker bar could be a better substitute for the piece of pipe but I was kind of hoping the EZ Lug would eliminate the need for any of these three.

The Porsche Carrera GT comes with a proprietary "EZ Lug" to remove its large center bolts......but then again they require 460ft-lbs of torque. I think for most of us a standard breaker bar would be sufficient :)

Yeah I saw mention of that over on Bobistheoilguy, hmm..I dont know, if it's good enough for Porsche.................. :nixweiss
