I ask this because after reading Gurureports, it seems like most of the waxes were completely gone after 8 weeks. From the sounds of it, the environment it was tested in was a colder one than mine (sunny CA) and there was even a snowstorm. Now, I've never had a wax last only 8 weeks before, in fact, it seems like after 6 months, my car still has wax on it, and this is a car that is parked outside all the time. So the sunlight hits it hard all day long.
So do you guys think cold weather weakens the cars wax finish more than sunlight does? Or was gurureports testing conditions involving a lot of rain and snow which could have caused more wear too? It hardly rains around here, so it's just sun damage causing most of the wear.
