Is Blackfire comparable to Zaino sealants???

Rob Tomlin- Heh heh, OK, fair enough!

Does BFWD darken a paint's appearance? The old AFPP (used in conjunction with their Gloss Enhancing Polish) did this so dramatically that with our two Audis side-by-side the BFed one looked like a completely different paint code!

Back - without internet for a few days, I use a lot more BFWD than is required - I know that but I really don't care. The LC gold pad is the best for applying any sealant. I take a paper towel and blot out the excess from the pad when I get through.

What is the difference?? Has it improved?

That's what I'm wondering.

I didn't mind the original and still use it for some things. But it darkened Audi silver too much for my taste.

It's been said BFWD darkens and looks a good bit like a carnuaba wax (giving depth). I've yet to test it so I cannot comment.

It makes the wife's blizzard white pearl Highlander glow, and it's the only product she actually asks for when I detail it.

It has given my wife's car a nice and warm tone, too. Her cars paint really shines. I just love how it looks and it is holding up well too. It has been about two months and the finish still beads nicely.

..[BFWD] .. does darken silver slightly, but not as much as OS for example.

Ah, OK, maybe it's similar to the old stuff. Hmm..see, I've never tried OS either :nixweiss

Not surprised that some people love the look, hey my wife prefers Souveran paste on Audi silver...everyone has their faves.
