Is anoyone using M205?

i just registed on this forum, but i have been going through old post and it seems that blitz wax is one of the favorites, and also some stuff called klasse. can someone give me opinions on the products, and others. and also where i can buy them at. i live in ohio near dayton. oh, and my car is red. thanx
 
Klasse makes acrylic sealants. Their flag ship would be Klasse All-In-One. It is a cleaner, polish, and sealant in one. Their companion product is Klasse Sealant Glaze. The Klasse Sealant Glaze does not have cleaners in it so it may be layered. I layer on 3 to 5 coats of Klasse Sealant glaze.

The Klasse offers shine and protection. It will last 6+ months on a car

The carnauba topper, Blitz in this case, is a very durable carnauba wax. It offers depth and warmth.

As for any sealant/wax, preparation is key to a superb finish. So, make sure the paint is really smooth by clay'ing, then tackle any swirls you have with a abrasive polish, like 3M Swirl Mark Remover (PN#39009) for really light swirls or 3M Perfect It II Fine Cut Rubbing Compound (PN#39002.)

So,
1. Wash with quality car wash (Meguiars Gold Class for me)
2. Clay
3. Remove swirls is any
4. Klasse AIO (some people like to do 2 coats, I stick with one because I prepared the surface already.)
5. Klasse SG, multiple coats
6. Blitz, multiple coats with one week between them.

Also keep on reading previous posts, and run searches on techniques on applying the Klasse and other stuff you may run into. Most likely it has been answered.

thanks for the replys. i just order some klasse all in one, blitz wax, some more car wash, and a couple applicator pads. ive already got some of the 3M swirl remover stuff. cant wait for it to get here so i can see the outcome!
 
Make sure that you prep your car very well before applying the Klasse (remove as many swirls and imperfections as you can before applying Klasse). Also, read the archives about the application of Klasse, and proper cure times etc. The way you apply a product can make a HUGE difference in final outcome.

Before you go off and buy all these fancy, high-end products, I would recommend you to read threads from this forum, articles from Ron's site, so you know what exactly is your problem (and how to solve it,) rather than guessing what the surface misperfection is, and using a wrong product.

I bought way back it to try the 105/205 combo. Acheived the claimed results, but have moved away from it. I actually have not touched M205since the summer.

I dont know if it's the paint I'm polishing or the other polishing products I have in the cabinets, but it does not ever cross my mind to pick up M205.

M105 on the other hand is a staple.

Anyone in the same boat?
 
Not here jdoria, I have been moving away from other's out there. It also been slow for me due to my illness this past year........:wizard:
 
I been using M205 for over a year now. It depends on the surface and paint of the vehicle in question.
 
I do not find anything wrong with M205 by Meguiar's. It works alot better for me then some other's out there.
 
M205 is the finishing polish I always reach for first. If it doesn't work well on a certain paint type then I'll grab something else. M205 is a very versatile polish and is VERY easy to use IMO.
 
Given all the factors that come into play, to say universally, I dont use M205 any longer - well, I am going to side with Rasky and Angelo here.

I like M105 for sure, and M205 totally complements M105 to bring out the awesome shine of M105 even further in my experience.

I like the fact that both break down easily and keep on going until you decide to stop them.

I have a harder time using Menzerna products now, because I am so used to the easier working function of the 105/205 products.

So, count me on the M205 users group, and remember, there is nothing that prevents one from using M205 with say a more agressive pad to give it a little more bite and then still finishing down beautifully..

It all depends on the paint...

I've used M105 as a 1-step with great results on certain paints.

M105/205 when 105 produces hazing.

M205 when the swirls are very light.
