Is a 12ga extension cord a PITA to detail with?

Sorry for coming late to this thread but the Yellow Jackets are one of the better/best cables out there . It's flexiable in the cold which is a ++. Ask me and I shall tell you. I have a bunch of yellow jackets - even a 10 AWG 100 footer and it's my preferred brand of cable.



I suggest you figure out the max length you need, the device you're powering and take it from there. 14 gauge is nice if you running a short run from the main power source....and it's lighter too.
 
was curious... has anyone used the craftsman extension cords? i noticed some of them have a lifetime warranty...
 
I just use a 50ft cord from walmart and Ive never had any troubles. Use it for the PC, Shop-vac, doesnt really matter, it does fine. Think we paid under $15.

Yessir!....I bought the 25 footers because I'm in a shop environment and don't need the extra length.
