Is 303 worth the $?

I don't see the 303 carpet cleaner anywhere online by the gallon :(

I think it's accurate to say all of the 303 products are above average :up

Bill

Strauss Automotive by me in Union on Route 22 had 303 upholstery cleaner for $3 a bottle!

I asked the girl at the counter if the price was accurate (it was) so I proceeded to purchase every bottle :p

The didn't have the protectant though so I had to buy online and use the autogeek discount code on top of the sale price.

Am I the only person who thinks it stinks?

When you say "stinks" are you refering to the smell or are you saying it's not a good product? If you mean the smell, yeah I don't think it smells very good. It's a great product though.:up

303 great product! I really like the deep rich look it gives to plastic and rubber (dash and tires). Also works really well on the tops on my Wrangler and Miata. To me its worth every penny.

If you do a search on google you can find some really good deals out there. Check out www.carcrazy.net (free shipping i think) Also check out Amazon. They just started carrying car care stuff.

i love the 303 products, especially the aerospace products... the only thing that would come close in my opinion would be 1z products, which are around the same price, and they dont even have a carpet cleaner... atleast that i know of...

Sorry,I did mean the odour. It worked fine for me but it was strictly external use only.

I like 1Z Tiefenpfleger and Cockpit Premium which both work well and smell great.

Very pleased with 303 on my conveyance.

Amazon.com is carrying 303 but the gallon size can be purchased elsewhere for quite a bit less.

IMHO 303 is the botox, looks factory and actually improves after a few days. Not keen on the smell, but this is a minor gripe, I've used it on my tyres and it lasts a long time!!

One of my best buys to date...Second only to the PC!!!:)

Well, since I started this thread in July I have changed my methods. I still use 303, but only on my leather, tonneau cover, and any other interior related item. I used to use 303 on my tires, but I was using it once a week, and I would use it more if the vehicle was driven in the rain. The tires didn't hold that nice look. For $23.00 for a 32oz bottle I was going through this stuff rather quickly. I now use armor all on my tires (and only on my tires) as I can get a 32oz for $5.78.

Before moving to 303 this May... I was using AA Low Gloss for the interior and engine bay, AutoGlym Bumper Care for all external trim and Meguiar's Hot Shine for the tires.

I liked all these products. They are all cheaper than 303.

I am now a total 303oholic :xyxthumbs and will use nothing else on my baby. (I guess I might use other stuff on other peoples cars if I was a professional detailer.)

I just love the look it gives everything, not to mention the lack of dust and no more hazy interior glass.

Yeah, that's why I bought the gallon :o I'm looking to move on for the tires some time as well. Hyper Dressing appears to be a very attractive option as I understand it.

BJ's has 64oz (16oz spray+48oz refill) for about $8 - good deal.

Any of you 303 users tried PB Natural Look ? How does it compare ?

I've used AA (the old one), Vinylex, a few others and the Natural Look is my current favorite.

I have to comment on 303 aerospace...

It's great for Bra's, interior and a multitude of other uses around the house.. I use it for shoes, grill covers, lawn furniture frames(powder coat), landscape lights(black coated aluminum) basically anything that is exposed to UV and fades..

My latest trials have been on wiper blades and it appears to improve cleaning ability. I figured I would try since they sell wiper restorer wipes that are probably just disposable wipes treated with 303..

I don't use on my tires because I believe there are other products that work better for me.

I have also used their cleaner/spot cleaner and fabric protectant and have been very happy with the results....

So in my case:up 303 products.

Bill,

I have been using AA Extreme shine and Nxt Protectant....

The extreme shine holds up for a couple of weeks and the Nxt only last about a week.

My car gets about 750 miles a week and I wash 2-3 times in that period too.

I'm trying to use those up so I can try the Hyper dressing..

I've also used #40 but it gets a splotchy look after 1 wash so it gets used only on interior.

I use the foam dressing applicator and just let soak in because the car won't move for 24hrs except maybe out of the garage onto the driveway.

I1:)
