IROC-Z from Blackdog... movie stunt car

Wow Mac, what a great find. No doubt that was a stunt car with that kinda cage. Even comes with bullett holes. Thats so awesome. I would drop a 350 in it and make it a DD. Is it for sale :drool5:

The current owners bought the car without the engine and trans, and said they have plans to make it run again. They didn't say anything about selling, they actually want to keep it. But I guess for the right price....

Well, I couldn't blame them atall for not wanting to part with that gem. But if they do, tell them theres some yahoo in Tennessee that will give them a grand for it and haul it home :driving:

Couldn't you imagine dropping a nice small block 400 and power glide or turbo 400 tranny with 4:11 gears w/ 8" slicks and a shot of nitrous. Man I could smoke some fools and make some serious jack street racing that thing :wizard:

Well... If you have 40-grand laying around you could do a full restoration!:out::rofl:

(Hey Flash... Your PM box is full!!!)

No restoration funds would be avalible. Everything would go for HP's only. Heck, I wouldn't even wash it. In my eyes she's a beauty just like she sits :Snowman:

PM Clear.....Bill, do you have some inside info on a similar vehicle. I am pretty sure I dreamed about this one last night Sleep

Funny you mention that, but restoring an IROC-Z is a dream future project. I've loved the IROC-Z's as long as I can remember. During my childhood, that was the badsass Camaro of the 80's. I love it's simple yet, boxy styling. Definite T56 tranny upgrade and a small block supercharged would complete my powertrain needs. One day.... as for now I need a bigger place so I can find the gem and let it sit until I find the time.

I always like the IROC's also. There's a Red/Red vert over here in the KC area that only has about 20k on it! Beautiful car!

Almost forgot... same location also had an old police cruiser used inthe Dukes of Hazzard... This was found with another cruiser outin the woods somewhere and had a damaged oil pump due to a flattened oil pan (all those jumps )Apparently oil pump and pan were replaced, and this vehicle is a runner :Dancing Dot:

I too love the IROC-Z those were some pretty quick cars for there time period and have beautiful body lines. As for this one in particular you would have to be insane to try to put it back original :scared:
