IPA wipedown on headlights?

I put a sealant on my car the other day (Poor Boys EX-P). I also put it on the headlights. I am now going to try meguiars headlight restoration kit. Can I do an IPA wipe down on the headlights first to remove the sealant and if so at what ratio with water?

I wouldn't recommend IPA on any plastic surface. I've had very bad experiences with it. Really, there's usually better products that perform the task of IPA, but probably not as cheap...
