IP & RMG mixed - amazing results

Oh yeah, Alfisti had a good point regarding the closed cell pads (like SFX and white wolfgang (LC) ETS) and water-based products like Menzerna - they definitely cut down on the dust.

The 106/RMG mix almost seems like a supercharged version of Vanilla Moose.

I'd say it would work best followed by a carnauba or a sealant that isn't too picky about what you use it over, like OCW, EX or EX-P.



I used it on a white Acura CL today, buffed it off with OCW and topped with #16. Real deep liquid look. :)
 
Plus if anything even if the prime removes the RMG you have the added benefit of having the RMG allow you to compound better so its not as if it would be a total loss. Im looking forward to trying this with PG as that is a nightmare for me. Aint got the skills yet.

Just a quick note...adding the RMG wasn't for the purpose of filling (infact, using an alcohol wipedown I didn't notice any filling properties), rather it was to improve and prolong the working characteristics of the M compounds. However, I suppose if you did a 50/50 mix or greater, maybe then the filling and glaze properties of RMG would start to take over?
 
RMG is Red Moose Machine Glaze? You guys are terrible with the acronyms. It is not in the decoder ring, and I have been here for a while, that is why somebody asked for a decoder

It really should be called Red Moose Machine Glaze (RMMG) but who's being picky... :p For those who need a decoder: RMG = Clearkote Red Moose Machine Glaze
 
just wondering, might be doing another full detail this weekend, was thinking of trying IP mixed with OCP for prolonged use, anythoughts?????



i was thinking of 3:1 mix of IP/OCP
