Invisible glass with Rain Repellent

I was at Target yesterday and noticed they carry Stoners "Invisible Glass with Rain Repellent". The strange thing is I can find nothing about it on their website, or anywhere on the web.

Just letting you guys know in case you want to try something new.

So I wrote Stoners. Reply was that Invisible Glass with rain repellant is only currently being carried at Target in the auto section as a test market. It is not recommended for use on interior glass.

Interesting. I'll have to pick up a few cans and see if it is any good. Then I can use the brand new can of regular that I just bought for the interior.

Just picked up a bottle on my break in between classes.

The label is purple. It's noticeably different from their other cleaner. Also, it's only in the trigger bottle not the aerosol. Kind of a shame, I'm a bigger fan of the aerosol. I'll post up a picture of the bottle and try to get a video comparing it between the 2 kinds within the next 2 days. It ran me about 5.59.

If it turns out to work pretty good, then I'll probably go back and pick up a few more bottles just in case they decide not to make it mainstream.

Funny I was just there stocking up on my spring arsenal of towels and more vinyl among other things and saw that there, to bad because I got the rain-x instead.

Considering the reputation of IG, I'm sure it's a very nice product. That said, Duragloss Rain Repel does the same thing. It's a glass cleaner and water repellent in one. It is the slickest glass cleaner I've ever used. I think it's safe for interior windows, even tinted, as well.

I used it this weekend on both interior and exterior windows. It seems to clean just as well as the original. I can't speak to the rain repelling effectiveness as it hasn't rained on my car yet.

Only at Target? I just saw it @ Meijer's (Michigan chain store about midway between Walwart and Target) so either they are taking it to the streets or us in MI get a better selection.

The regular IG has always done a great job for of beading water on the windshield. Rain drops bead up and fly right off,and an application lasts a pretty decent amount of time also. Is the new version that much better? I've managed to accumulate two spray bottles and one can of IG,and that will last a very long time!
