Invisible Glass - Has anybody tried it?

Probably a moot point, but while this stuff looks great on windows and windshields, but I have had terrible results on mirrors. Keep it off yours!

The pre-treated Stoner Invisible Glass wipes are handy, too. Bonus: they don't leave *any* lint on your glass. The pre-treated wipes don't seem to have quite the solvent/cleaning power of the spray, but they are quick, convenient, and don't lint.

I just stopped by Wal-Mart today and saw this product on the shelf for $3.50. However, I did not see the rain repellent version. What local stores sell the rain repellent version because I'd rather have that?

They do not sell it in my area yet either so for now I order mine through AG.

I just went on their website and I believe they sell that product at Target. I haven't checked out my local Target store but I will once I get a chance.

Tarminator has had a reputation in the past for occasionally damaging clear coat, so be careful with it. IMO, there's better alternatives to Tarminator, but I do love Invisible Glass.

If you order direct from Stoner's, you'll get free shipping (gets to me in 2 days) and a 12-pack case of Tarminator runs just under $40. Seems like a lot of their cases run around $35 - $40, again with free (& very fast) shipping.

IG and SprayAway are my favorites. I also use ZEP's glass cleaner concentrate for the intial cleaning of very dirty windows. Then follow up with IG and/or Sprayaway. I've been waiting for Surf City products to be sold at the PepBoys near me, but nothing so far.

I don't think you can have just 1 glass cleaner. They all use different combo's of solvents which work best on differing types of grime. One day you'll think so-and so cleaner is the bomb then the next car you use it on it does work so great. So by having a few options you should be able to clean everything without any streaking. I usually use IG last.

The Stoner's IG window paddle cleaning tool is excellent and worth the money. Just buy a bunch of your own MF bonnets. I found the same exact tool at a dollar store under some obscure brand for $6.

I wish that Viking would make bonnets made from thier glass MF cloths (w/ checked pattern) that would fit the IG paddle tool. That would kick *** as the MF bonnets with a nap can leave lint.

I never thought a window cleaner could excite me, but after my first use I ran inside and insisted my wife use it. We now use it for all the glass in our home. It's great stuff.

My favorite is Meguiars NXT glass cleaner by farrr!

it's a great glass cleaner but the problem with it is you can't buy it OTC anymore. i use to buy it from pepboys years ago (would buy a few bottles at a time) and then they stopped carrying it. sure you can find it at certain stores, but it would be going out of my way, and the cost of gas itself would be just about as much as the product. i know i could buy it online, but there are other things that i would like to buy first and IG does a good enough job for me anyway...

if you buy it from Amazon they will give you free shipping if you order $25 or more... Or you can sign up for their super shipper trial for 60 days and cancel at any time which will give you free 2 day air shipment on anything Amazon sells themself's. Not including 3rd party sellers...
