Hey guys, just getting into the business and thought I'd say hi.

I have been looking around these forums for a couple days now so I feel like I know a few of you already.

I'm kinda unique here as I know absolutely nothing about detailing. Never even heard of a 'clay bar' till today.

Here is my situation in a nutshell. I have a buddy that is very passionate about detailing and opened a small shop with his friend that is also very passionate about detailing. After about 8 weeks they both realized that they knew very little about operating a businesses and my buddies friend walked.

By friend however, knowing that I have successfully opened several small businesses, asked if I would partner with him. He'll handle the front-end work while I maintain the back-end work (accounting, bookkeeping, taxes, advertising, web presence etc).

I am hear basically to get up to speed and try to learn a bit about the process and products so that I'm able to speak intelligently in my new field.

I welcome any new comer tips or words of advice from my more seasoned posters.

Welcome Noble.
The marketing person in me likes your website. Attractive and informative...but...the black on red text is almost impossible to read. You might consider a different color text or other tweak so your info is easier for people to grasp.

Thanks MDerleth, right now the site is just kind of a place holder while we get things set up. Most of the info isn't even accurate as I just put things up so I would have content as I was building. We hope to be open 100% on 7/1

Thanks for your thoughts, I'll go play with the colors right now.
