Hmm, I wonder why universities have such high upload speeds as compared to the download speeds?



thinksnow has a 4333/4117, and

GSRstilez has a 1723/3927



yet everyone's *home* speeds are putting upload speeds around 15% of the download speeds.....? Just curious.

It could be the upload speed is not very accurate or that there are java latencies that cause it to not be so good. The download, they are pushing to you, the upload is coming from the little java app to them. Just a thought. :nixweiss

How is this possible? I thought these tests were only accurate up to 8mbps either way? What service do you have that provides this?

I was at work. I would imagine the download speed was limited by the host server. What's that, like a T3 right to my desk? :D
