Interior scents

Some of my customers have been asking me for some interior scents so i was going to by a couple different smells for them to pick any recomendations on brand?

i bought a set of the Perfecar scents (rebranded CG water-based scents) and even at only $15 for the set, it was the biggest waste of money. The scent was gone in literally minutes. I thought it was a fluke and maybe just a particular scent that was a problem, but no matter what scent I sprayed, I got the same, poor results (no results is more like it). So then I thought, "Maybe it's just me?" I proceeded to test it with my wife and passengers and they too, could not smell anything once they got in the car. The only thing I got from that $15 was a set of small, 4 oz spray/mist bottles. The product itself was pure junk.

"Blaze Away" This stuff is $20.00 a bottle At Advanced Auto Parts and 1 friggin spray will last 4-5 days if not a week++. Right on the label it states how it is the longest lasting, most potent scented spray on the market.. and from my experience.. it is!

It's pricey but to think 1 spray would last your clients that long. Could be a better investment. I used to work at a Car Wash. All our scents were always in unlabeled bottles. After 6-8 sprays on the floor mats... couple hours the smells gone. The only problem is that they don't have alot to choose from. Majority "fruity" smells and I can't handle that. I get mad headaches.

Does it have to be a scent? GAIN dryer sheets are cheap and I don't know anyone that finds the smell to be unpleasant. Usually a single sheet under the driver seat and the passenger seat are enough to keep the interior smelling pleasant.

I use several different products. The first is smoke away. Smells kind of like baby powder in a super concentrated form. a couple of sprays of this stuff and the car is set for quite some time. Then I also have new car smell from the same company. Smells more like an off citrus to me. Pleasent smelling and again very long lasting. I have some odor bombs as well for over powering smell removal. It's a 2 hour process but it's also effective. Smells like green apples when your done.

anyone else? im not looking to get rid of odors with it,i have products for that just looking for something to spray real quick when im a done the car that might last a day or two.thanks for the heads up on the CG ones that what im trying to avoid.

if your looking for something to acutally eliminate odors and not just mask them for the moment you need to get odorcide 201. It's made to eleiminate dead body stench at crime sceens and direct skunk spray. It will eleminate any odor on contact. No dwell time needed at all. Phenominal stuff right there. For a slight lesser formula I use odo-ban. smells like ecualyptius. Odo-ban is enzyme based to kill off any bacteria. Odorcide is something completely different on a chemical level that goes way above and beyond enzymes.

If they have leather, Zaino Z-10 Leather Conditioner leaves behind a very pleasant leathery scent. Meguiars Interior QD is being reformulated for a longer last scent (which is very nice), so that might also be a solution without having to buy an actual 'scent'.
