interior plastic scratches

I was just living with deep scratches in various interior panels but I thought I'd ask the experts if there's anything that can be done to "buff" them out.



Problem is that the plastic is slightly textured (2004 Toyota 4Runner, gray interior) so I doubt they can be fixed without creating a smooth area on the plastic. Anyone got any suggestions, or do I simply continue to tolerate them as battle scars from too many trips to Home Depot?
 
Sorry the best trick I know is to rub them with a peice of hard plastic

(like the rounded end of a Craftsman Screwdriver)

and it dose a little to help with the deep scratches but that is about it
