I need to find a good product to use to clean the interiors of vehicles. I need something I can buy in like a gallon because I do alot of cars. I would like to have something that works on Leather ,vinyl, and rubber. This way i dont have to have two or three products with me . Also I wouldnt have to worry if I got some overspray on leather or something.

Also what do you guys do to leather in a customers car who is getting a full detail????

Thanks, Dave

...but I don't think it would be compatible with leather. The APC+ is available in gallons and get mixed @ 1:15 ratio for general interior cleaning.

I would be very careful about using a single product on all of these surfaces, leather in particular is quite distinct from other kinds of interior surface.I have the gallon of APC+ which is dilutable and I also have the largest size jug of Lexol. Both should last you a long time.

I really like Autoglym Interior Cleaner. It is from their professional line and can be used on upholstery, vinyl, rubber, plastic, and leather. I have been told that Griot's Interior Cleaner is simply rebadged Autoglym Interior Cleaner and sold for a lot more.

One gallon of this stuff set me back less than $10.

You can use Woolite and water (6:1) on everything in the car. Works great on leather and leaves it feeling soft.

Thanks for all the help guys. I used the 6:1 woolite on a Lariet F150 and it seemed to work well. I just sprayed on the seat and wiped of with a terry towel. How do you guys use it for best results??

I spray it on, scrub it with my Black and Decker Scum Buster (using the carpet brush attachment) then wipe dry with a terry cloth towel. I also have a small plastic bristle brush for tight areas.

let me get this right:

6 parts Woolite to 1 part water......good for carpet, fabric, & leather?

Thanks...
I've never tried the Woolite mix myself, but I'm guessing that you want 6 parts of water to 1 part Woolite.

Tort

I've heard a couple of people mention using Dreft instead of Woolite. Has anyone tried that?

I'm asking because the grocery store I usually shop in carries Dreft, but not Woolite.
