sorry but i think this has been talked about in different threads but i was wondering if anyone has ever tried detail king products. they have the new car smell, baby powder, leather and others, i wanted to give some of these a try but not sure if they work, or even smell good. anyone have any clues on these products, or which ones are better. i am looking for a good new car scent, i have always used the little pine trees - coconut smell but not everyone i know likes coconut.

RESOLVE CARPET CLEANER Foam 1920000706 RECKITT BENCKISER
i like using resolve its a strong deodorizer and does an excellent job of cleaning the carpeting with out leave a heavy soapy residue, i used this on a smokers car, the results were amazing, and it leaves a clean fresh new car smell, just make sure you get the aerosal bottle not spray bottle, after cleaning the interior i give a quick spray on the headliner and carpeting, i really like this stuff........iam not a big scent person i just like the to smell fresh and clean, alot of deodorizers leave a heavy cheap smell, i hate fruity smelling stuff
Odor Neutralizer Renuzit - Eliminate Odors - Bathroom Odors, Tobacco Smoke
this stuff is good too leaves the car clean and fresh for over a week, this stuff has a light smell but it last for ever

thats a good question detail king does sell lots of scents, but i havent heard anything about it. i looks like it just covers odor, and their flavors dont really appeal to me

I have only used fragrances from Chemical Guys (Pina Colada) and Poor Boy's (Vanilla). Both smell nice without overpowering your sniffer but the Poorboy's lasts 2-3 times longer than the other. One or two small sprays of either one is plenty.

What is it that detailers use that has a cherry/strawberry/nasty smell? I suspect it's the super-shiny product used on the interior vinyl and plastic surfaces. I guess it doubles as a "air freshener" as well? I really can't stand it. Anyone have an idea?

UPDATE: The green apple fragrance from Poorboy's is the best ever. Highly concentrated but not overpowering with a wonderful fresh scent. I just ordered more. Supply is limited and you need to E-mail or call Steve to acquire it.

I have a choice of several fragrances from my distributor. I stick with one, dy-which is new car smell. It has a hint of citrus, and not too over powering.
The cherry or any berry for that matter, I do not like. To me, they stink, and make smells worse.

The product I use is an odor terminator. It doubles as a bacterial/mold killer.
It can also be added to a hot water extractor....

DESCRIPTION:
A ready to-use liquid containing a bacteriacide that kills the bacteria, mold or mildew causing the odor. Available in the following fragrances:

• E018A - Green Apple
• E018B - Wild Cherry
• E018C - Vanilla
• E018D - Citrus Fresh
• E018E - New Scent
