Apologize ahead of time for the camera phone pics.

Had two planes lined up to do today. The first one was an A36 Bonanza that just got done with its annual inspection meaning it was basically taken completely apart. So it was in need of a massive cleaning. However when I arrived I found no plane, it was still in the matience hanger and wouldnt be moved to Monday. Would of loved a call to let me know. My next plane was a Sklane that wasnt supposed to arrive till 2. So I decided to head on home for lunch. On my way back the weather took a turn for the worse. Luckily I would be in hanger.

I arrived a few minutes before my client landed and began as soon as the plane was move inside. About 30 minutes into the detail a Jet pulls up and is soaked from the weather. When the owner got out he saw me working and struck up a conversation, he asked me if I wanted to work on his since it just got poured on and he wants it cleaned up........

Needless to say after a quick look over I told him it was out of my league. To give you an idea of size my head doesnt even reach the bottom pin stripe and Im 6'3". I refered to another guy who has a whole crew and a massive ladder that cleans up small business planes. He thanked me and we exchanged cards cause he still wants his cars cleaned. I continue cleaning and after about 2 hours I hear a bunch of police cars and trucks flying by. I go and investigate and find out that tanker truck jack knifed due to the wet streets. Had to call a huge wrecker to get it out.

It was quite a day, lost a detail but gained a new client. Good trade off :nixweiss

Ive cleaned a Citation I and Falcon 10 before, but they are nothing compared to that. If I did it by myself itd probally take 2 days.
