Been several months since my last wax job so it was time for a quick wax job. Did the whole wash, blow dry, clay, etc number. Foamed with CG citrus at stripping rate. Pulled out my products and decided to try the DG this time rather than the Menzerna FMJ to see which is more durable. I see all kinds of posts that FMJ doesn't last, but I've got to tell you, that hasn't been the case for me. Anyway, I have the DG 601 and 105 and decided to use these.
I pulled out the 501 I had for my boat by mistake (oldtimers disease). Did my hood before I noticed the error. I gotta tell you, it looked great. Finished the whole car with it then did the 601 and 105. 501 is probably just a good cleaner wax but I was pleasantly pleased.
You might want to give this combo a try. 501 goes on and off real easy. I applied with PC and blue LC pad and buffed off with mf.
