In case you don't know what impropper polishing can do to a car!

That is pretty crazy. Did the compound they use have so many fillers that they didn't see the damage as they were causing it? Or did they just polish it in the dark?

I bet they polished the whole car in 20 minutes!!

Or perhaps under fluorescent light.

Holograms that bad would probably show up even under fluorescent lighting also wouldn't you think?

On another topic, when polishing out holograms I can generally go pretty light (Menz 106 on LC White) to clean them up. To clean that up, I would think at a bare minimum I would have to go to Menz SIP on white to clean that up. If SIP didn't work I guess 105 on white.

They absolutely would, you'd see a lot of hazing in the paint. I did a jet black 335 that was molested with what appeared to be a rotary and steel wool. Very obvious even in the owner's garage under the fluorescent lights.

ok now, let's not all be ignorant...WE ALL KNOW that optical illusions are this years fad--if you look closely it actually makes a sensible design (rolls eyes)

lol on a more serious note--barry can't wait to see the write up on this because I know it's going to look finer than Jessica Alba in....let's stop there lol kudos on breaking in the new shop with that horror =] make sure they pay dearly for that one rofl
