Impressions Fine Auto Detailing: 06 BMW 330ci

Re: Impressions Fine Auto Detailing: '06 BMW 330ci

It's been 4 months since applying BLACKFIRE Crystal Coat Paint Coating to my BMW and I'm pretty impressed with its capabilities!
this past Sunday I picked up a new pressure washer for around the house and really didn't want to do a full wash on my 330ci, even the wheels were nasty (note, I never coated the wheels)

Having the shop no longer located at my house I really didn't have any products with me so I improvised by using an All purpose citrus based product that my wife had under the sink. Being the car has a quartz coating on it I figured it wasn't going to hurt it.

I sprayed one panel at a time and let it dwell for a minute or two before being pressure washed. Much to my surprise the dirt rolled off the car and left a nice, clean and shiny finish

Heck, even the wheels came out sweet!

After a 5 minute blast down the road I didn't even have to dry the car!!

Now remember this was a "NO TOUCH" wash and overall I was very impressed and most of all my Wife was ecstatic about having a clean car again!!
You know what that say about a happy wife!!

Looks great! :) The side mirror trim looks good even after 4 months. Do you put the crystal coat on all your trim? Any Comparison to dlux or other coatings? With it being in the conect sale i am tempted. Also, if the coating fails in a year what happens to it on the textured trim? I don't think that you can polish it off. I guess that would be a general coating question. Thanks.

Glad you brought that up!
I did use Crystal Coat on the mirrors and its holding up well. This mirror & surrounding trim is not textured so if i had to polish it off I think I could.
I've never seen a coating fail and flake off or peel so If I still have the car in two years I'll let you know :)

As for comparisons I haven't compared CrystalCoat to anything else in the trim coating lines. I am sure that as a quartz based coating it'll hold up just as well as the big boy coatings
