i'm ready to go all the way

i've used all the pads up to the purple pad to try and get the spider webs off the wifes jet black bimmer. even that didn't do it combined with super intensive or power gloss. i'm ready to get some wool pads now. which ones do i need for my situation. my wife and daughter say i'm obsessing but i see the correction you guys get and i want the same. i've used more speed, more pressure and neither seem to get this harda$$ clearcoat smooth.

I would be more than happy to come by and help you out. I will be in Pittsburgh watching the Steelers at camp, but will be back this weekend. Just pm me if you would like a hand.

You should take up Dana on this offer, he can show you on how to removed those nasty little swirls.............That is very great offer by him.

i know it is and i have been in contact with dana and we will hook up soon i hope... i pick up quicker when i'm shown how as opposed to trial and error.

The 7428 is the rotary, I don't think he wants to crank it all the way up. If it was a 7424 I would agree.

Oh wow, sorry I overlooked that! Just re-read his post here,
i have a porter cable 7428... highest speed i've used is 3 which is about 2400 rpm...afraid to go any faster....

now my response it to turn that sucker down and get a more aggressive pad or polish! haha! I generally dont go above 1800rpms on my rotary, most of the time I stay at 1500rpms. I would recommend M105/Lake Country Purple Foamed Wool if you havent tried it.
