I'm now an ONR using, pressure washing, leaf-blower convert

Do pressure washers use less water than a garden hose with a spray nozzle?

The little ones do. When I wash with the PW, the runoff water barely gets to the end of my driveway. With the hose, it makes it well into the street. Not scientific, but as good as I have...

i wouldn't particulary care to use a gas powered blower as it's noisy, and would probably spew out oil and gas fumes (not to mention heavier and cumbersome). i like using this leaf blower (no need to get a 200+mph one IME) and while it's lightweight (this has plenty of power), you can hold it in one hand, with a microfiber towel or waffle weave in the other, to pick up little droplets/water streaks...

Depending on the cost of water in some places, those things could pay for themselves quickly.

I may look into getting one myself.

My neighbor has one and uses it often.

It's gonna be a lot more user-friendly. You're only manipulating the flexible hose/nozzle, not the whole [darn] blower, and it really does make a diff even if you have really good wrist/forearm/grip strength.

You might have just sold me one the backpack model.

I dread leaf blowing season just because of the arm fatigue I encounter with an electric blower, although it does beat raking by a mile.

rusty bumper- I have the best Stihl hand-held and both my backpacks are utterly superior in every respect. I suspect you'll be *amazed* at the difference. Just don't skimp; buy the absolute best backpack you can possibly afford. You'll appreciate the diff long after you've forgotten about the cost...really.

That's me in a nutshell.

Buy the best. :usa
