Just placed my fourth order within the last seven days. Customer called in with a badly oxidized boat. I had a dewalt rotary a few years ago, but it was taken/stolen in my year or so of not-detailing. I use a pneumatic rotary a tonne on aircraft at work, and decided a boat in need of repair was reason enough to pick myself up a new Makita 9227! Woooo for spending over a grand at AG in seven days.

Sorry to thread jack. But Scott, have you tried the new Hyper Polish on Surbuff pads? I'd be interested to see how much cut you could get out of it considering Hyper Polish is advertised to be a very versatile product.

Surbuf pads are my next product to order. After talking to Dr. G at Optimum, he said I should get really good results with the Hydro-tech pads so I ordered them instead of the Surbuf.

Ok, let me know how those Hydro-tech's are when you get them. I am getting the Hyper Polish from BigAl tomorrow morning and plan to try it out with the surbuff pads later in the day so I'll let you know as well.
