That's what I'm thinking. I ordered FK1-425 and it should be here today. I just did a coat of M21 followed by AW (12 hours later) last weekend. I can't hardly wait to wash the car tonight and QD it with FK425. Anxious to see what it does to looks and dust/keeping clean.

^^I'm not sure I follow. Polycharger (CH2, H20) is a booster additive for both 'nubas and sealants. For example, the old 4* UPP was a sealant and is now offered as a polycharged version.

This time it was AW and no different IMO. I always finish off a wash with QD.....doesn't matter if I wash 7 days a week.
I have no problem with durability or finger pointing either......If I want durability I'll grab the DG105...during warmer months though I have no problem with re-sealing every month or two.
You're right. Doing a second coat of wax and maintaining with a wash+QD is ridiculous. Glad you straightened me out.

On another note, I washed both of our DD's today and topped with AW. As always I was stunned with the results.
I use AW after every wash (1 a week). My vehichles bead all summer long:woot:

It IS extreme detailing. Washing every couple of days, topping every week (with a product that should last for months)... 'Quick Detail' after a perfectly good wash 'n dry.... 2, 4, 6 bucket washes, foam cannons, steam cleaners, $1k extractors, Shelves full of detailing supplies that will last for generations.... the list of extremes in here is endless.
The one I've always liked the best is the quest for the most durable LSP (like the search for the holy grail .... by folks that can't help but slather on a new LSP on their ride every few weeks. (so durability really doesn't matter at all). I'd bet most here can't go 8 weeks before they're reaching for next thing to slather on there!

Back on topic my wife (who also washes her truck w/ 2 buckets, wool, mf etc.) keeps a bottle of AW w/ her cleaning supplies for the house. She for sure does the kitchen counter tops w/ it and I've caught her using it on the the aluminum sink and chrome faucet there.

Okay, I guess I have yet to really go nuts with DG AW, since I've reserved it mostly for the car (although the lawn tractor got some after an ONR wash last week [and boy does it pop <needs the fenders polished though>] !)
I really like the DG line because all of the products I've tried work very well and their prices and shipping is excellent! Hands down just maybe the best I've seen.
Back to DG AW, I mostly do ONR washes, but even if I didn't, I wouldn't dilute the power of AW w/spray 'n dry - much prefer to spray 'n wipe and dry paint. I also like it for the jams and sills and under trunk lids and hoods (the places 'regular' people don't go) as it adds a layer of protection to painted areas often overlooked.
Last weekend when I topped my ride I thought what the heck and gave the windows and rear window a shot of AW. It rained yesterday and the water just falls off...and so I'm thinking, just maybe those sliding glass doors out to the deck could use a little invisible glass, then AW attention to be and stay cleaner, longer. Hmm...following a good polish, it might make that stainless steel grill pop too....

I hear ya - It's almost over the top to pay 'n spray when it's friggin freezing cold! I gotta scope out a resonably priced touchless (where I can stay inside) for next year.
I really want to take care of my ride, but there has to be limits to the personal cost.

That said, different things are needed for different situations. Sure my own car it's not common for me to re-do the process every month or two. Looks is my main concern so even if the product is still "protecting" but has lost some of it's look I'll re-do the waxing process. Things have to be done very specifically with my car to keep the soft paint swirl free, so I probably have steps not even needed for most situations in my wash setup alone.
Sometimes I need a durable sealant though. I just finished my brother-in-law's truck today and it got a coat of DG105 topped with AW 12 hours later. I won't see that truck again for about a year so I needed the most durable setup I could find.
Not sure why you found the need to single my posts out in your replies as if I am any different than 95% of the users on this forum (which I'm not). My main concern on my own car is how good it looks.....on customer's or friends/family cars it's durability.
