Im and ediot, two bucket wash method

Why would you run the water the whole time? You turn the nozzle on to spray the mitt when needed.

I'd think that you'd waste more water if you end up spraying the mitt every time, though. Which is a big reason I switched to ONR. It was only after using ONR that I realized how many gallons of water I must've been wasting by using the two bucket method, especially when the sun was out and I had to respray the panels to keep them wet.

I don't wash out in the sun and I don't use alot of water spraying the mitts either. But I use ONR as a QD after a wash or when claying or rarely to wash the car when only dusty. I love ONR, but to get a car really clean a hose is needed IMHO.

Nah, if you wash with ONR, it can just be as effective and safe on the paint. Scottwax is a testament to that.

With wheelwells and tires, however, I'd prefer a conventional wash.

I've used ONR as well and when vehicles are dirty and need to be clayed afterwards, it's just faster and easier to convential wash, leave the water on the car, clay and then seal.....or whatever your process is. I rarely do not clay cars so ONR is not best for me.

Im sorry guys but i am guna break down, look like and ediot, and ask this question. What is the two bucket wash method. I only use one, i feel like an ediot. Any help?
Noone would call you an idiot for asking that question. Id be more worried about my spelling...

Haha... im sorry, i spelled a word wrong. Does this mean iv'e dropped out of school, or am going to? I think not. I understand your guys'es points about getting on me about my spelling but as someone has said before in a different thread, "your beating a dead horse". And for the pissing in the bucket post, that cracked me up, It may just be 9th grade humor though.

You may not be too old to learn, but seems like youre too old to enjoy a joke!

I do enjoy a good joke but that wasn't one, just crude.

The only way to learn is by asking, good for you for doing so.

i use one bucket and a shmitt to wash. the shmitt floats, so after a pass on the car i dip and let the water drain off, then while i am rinsing a panel, the dirt sinks to the bottom (whatever isn't suspended in the soap on the car).
