You definitely need to give the mf waffle weave from Excel a try. Absolutely the softest I've found. Baby blanket soft. Had a couple and just ordered 3 more.
 
I absolutely love their Monterey WW. Ordered two to try and liked them so much I got 10 more on next order.

I just started using ONR, and am definitely hooked now, so I'm in search of some WWs since I think it might be better for the drying passes than the towels I'm using (especially my purple plush Cobras that seem to streak and lint like no other...).



Unfortunately, I went to Walmart today, and it appears my WalMart no longer sells the WW towels :(

Might be, but can't say with certainty as I never had one from Danase in hand. However, if it is, Excel's price is lowest.

and most likely the CG's ones as well (they all seem to be the same, right down to the clear plastic bag they come in), i have three of them... :D after using these for a while, i will never go back to normal ww's as they seem too hard for my liking. from this point on, i'll be buying them from patrick as he has the lowest price around, and not to mention i'll get them the next day...

That is the MF-204, and I consider it the same as the Excel Monterey WW, although the satin binding is a darker shade of blue. Hard to go wrong with either of those WW's.



The extra soft WW's like the Monterey, the MF-204, etc. are the only WW's I'll use for drying since I discovered them. The MF-201 is also the same soft material, but the color is yellow, they are a little smaller (16 x 26), and they come two to a package. The picture is outdated because the style they carry now has satin binding.
