I was at Lowes today and they had Makita 9227C rotary on clearance for $109.69 from $195. The tool guy told me they are not carrying them any more and the warehouse is shipping them out to get rid of them. I was personally holding out for a Dewalt 849 and went there looking for one, but you can't beat $85.31 in savings. Now it's time for some LC pads!
 
Oh shoot! I must run to my local Lowes. So they are actually selling them very cheap at the places? Ack! I can brake me promise. I already have actually :D
 
I am not sure if all Lowes are doing it. I am in AZ and he said that the warehouse had 5 of them and shipped them out to them and all five were clearanced at the $109.69 price. I just so happened to get the last one. I would contact your local Lowes and ask them.:)

Call before you go . I just called 2 by me and niether of them carry it .
 
All 3 lowes in my area dont have it :(

They dont stock makita tools any more... this one guy even said to check Home Depot or something for it. Oh well........
 
Perhaps it is just a regional thing? I went to Home Depot today and all they had was some off brand orbital.
