No brainer. We gave up cable tv going on 5 years ago. We never watched shows when they actually aired so it really kinda became pointless. I can download or stream anything we want
As a matter of fact, it's kind of refreshing not feeling like you're always attached to something (cell phone), you can say "I don't know" and not have to immediately google it, and it inspires you to pick up a good book - or maybe even a bad one. Movies are great, but books definitely work the mind a little more.
I strongly agree, i got a few great books that i like to pick up and read in a closed room without any distractions, so mind refreshing. I got distracted and been watching too many movies lately (watched about 26 horror movies this October,next year i'm going for 31) so i need to get back to focusing on detail-related things.

I actually got a box of new books waiting on me to read them (never knew my granny was into fantasy novels). Trying to catch up on all the good Netflix shows since I may be loosing the ability to stream soon. May go back and read the Kushiel's series by Jacqueline Carey though, amazing books.
