IF you HAD to choose ONLY ONE line of products - which would it be?

Wow, majority for Meg's.... not what I was expecting...

What were you expecting?

Meguiars probably has the most comprehensive line of products out there. They're also one of the most commericially recognizable names in the car care industry.

It seems to me that the only company that has close to as many votes in this thread is optimum, and that's simply because of ONR. If megs made their own rinseless wash, i think it would be an even bigger landslide.

Don't forget that Meguiars knows what real customer service is. They don't take your comments as insults , they take it as constructive criticism and turn around and make a better product. Anytime you have an issue with their products, you call and they help and/or replace the product.

LOL, actually Meg's was the last I was expecting...

I used Meg's BEFORE I found this site and was happy - I liked their show car glaze and their high tech yellow wax - I have never used their polishes, or anyones polishes for that fact...

But then was introduced to the world of Wolfgang, Pinnacle, Zaino, Finish Kare, Optimum, Poorboy's, etc - and have never looked back...

Just interesting, their is no right or wrong answer, I just was not expecting Meg's...

Give it some time :nana: I went from cheapo stuff to Meguiars, then some other stuff, then Zaino, ended up here, tried a bunch of other stuff, and ended up back at Meguiars..... Seems like a lot of folks end up BACK at Meguiars.

I'm still stuck in that "i'm going to try a little of everything" stage. My shelves are crammed with Wolfgang, Pinnacle, Megs, Optimum, Dodo, and several other brand of products.

However, my growing collection of gallon jugs all say Meguiars on them.

I think Meg's is most popular due to their line of polishes and other prof products. IF this was just about waxes and sealants then they would not have such a strong showing.

Also, 105 has changed the game so much that many detailers have come back to them.

My vote is for Meg's. But thank goodness this is just for fun because I couldn't go without my SIP, ONR and Z'sssssssssssss

what about clays guys? IIRC Opt doesnt have a clay in the US?

In Europe we have that so I'd say Optimum as it covers ALL the bases :D Otherwise it would have to be Meguiars.

Same here. IMO, #205 and #105 are the polishes to beat. However, Optimum has ONR and Opti-Seal and I consider those to be absolute must haves so I could make due with Optimum's line of polishes if I had to.

i do love menzerna but as for one line it would be meguiars becuase they have everything from polish to pads to solvents to sprayers to everything that you can buy anywhere and not just over the net.
