If you could only have one product.

Collinite fleet wax liquid (#870)

Tough like a 25 cents steak, cleaners that are strong enough to boost the finish and mild enough to be used every 3 months. Durability of 3 months at least, nice shine and moderate cleaners..... :up

Mothers original formula carnauba wax (cleaner) as second.

I'm sure you have had good results with Collinite #870. I think Scottwax has also reported good results with it. But I phoned Collinite Customer Service and asked about the product and they advised against using it on clear coat. This product is made for boats and the cleaners are for boat surfaces like gel coat.

Yeah but it's too aggressive to be used monthly. Remember you can only use one product so it would need to be applied often like a LSP.

I disagree.

If you have ever used #66, its almost watery, its so thin. A lot like Optimum, I believe it has no abrasives in it and just uses the pad/speed to do the cutting. I've use it with a finishing pad and all it removes are stains. I'm confident I could use it once a month on a finishing pad without any ill effects.

You may be right but Megs ranks it a 4 on it's abrasvie scale. Thats the same rank as #80 and #80 has some bite to it. I wouldn't use #80 every month.

AIO here. I believe I mentioned this before...

- Works on everything - plastic, metal, glass, paint, clearcoat

- Cleans - tar, grime, glue, brake dust, water spots, oxidized paint, what-have-you

- Polishes - in my experience, removes very slight swirling and scratches

- Protects - sure, only slightly, but it's something

- Polishes metal - bare metal + AIO = shine

- Easy - to apply and remove

Speaking of which, I need to order some more... :D
