you must not have kids:notme: they can suck the life and life savings out of you

Only 3. 19, 16 and 13 right at their peek of sucking the life out of you ability. All are still at home. College tuition, kids cars and insurance, basketball, volleyball and softball teams and camps. I understand this concept pretty well. :D

I'd have 5 or 6 houses/condos around the world.About 2 million dollars worth of automobiles.I'd have a 50 million dollar superyacht.A jet on call 24/7and a Bell helicopter for my short jaunts. Lots of money to charities. Now can I:passout: ?

I would do some of the things on the poll list. I think if money was no issue of course i would have to give a certain amount away to charities of my choice.

The first thing i would do is buy some land out in the middle of nowhere so i had no neighbors and build a Huge House with a full service garage with lots of room for a nice car collection . Hunting and fishing would of course be part of that. I would like to travel to a few places however NOT the world there are many places I have zero desire to go to. Not really into the whole party atmosphere but it would be nice to go to the Playboy Mansion for a party of Hef's. Of course I would only want these things if my family was with me and all in good health to enjoy it.

yeah right:notme: ...I think I should start a contest to see who can guess how long before you start :wall:wall:wall:wall:wall:wall:wall and wave the:surrender:surrender:surrender:surrender:surrender:surrender:surrender

Quit detailing forever, move to a very small town in the South and do whatever I want whenever I want.

Oh wait, money isn't an issue but that's what I'm gonna do in 45 more days.:bigups

Steve may be right, but I hung it up in January of 2002 and have never looked back.
Best job I ever had.

Like some guy once said,
"life is short ..do it while you can :bigups"

I would buy a house in vancouver, then buy another house in whistler....go mountain biking everyday....i drive whatever car wanted,
sports car 2008 bmw m3, a c6 zo6, 911 turbo
daily driver : m5, for the winter an escalade , and a subaru wrx as my beater .......
any of you guys that live in British Columbia, are very lucky

I wouldn't change much. I'd still work, live in the same place, do the same stuff. I'd probably build myself a garage in the backyard and get a few collector cars i been wanting. Maybe go on vacation a bit more often. Not much besides that.

If money was no object I wouldn't quit work...but it would only take them 5 minutes to fire me.

Buy a nice house...on a lot of land...and detail my cars.

BMW M3
69 Dodge Charger RT
The new Challenger (whenever that comes out)
the last year they made the Supra TT.

I picked other. I would buy a medium size house like the one I live in now (but a bunch of them everywhere around the USA, there is so many places to visit here). Work at the same job I am at now. Finish high school. Give lots of the money to charity. Buy my parents a new house and cars. Buy Steve a huge warehouse with a loading bay and everything lol. And just be a kid. When I get older I would be a detailer but do cars when I want and only people I like. There is other things but I forgot them. O yea a Maid (i'm a very messy kid lol)

Cars:
F-350 turbo diesel jacked up, bumpin stereo, sweet chrome rims, full size bed and cab (My Dream car)

Bunch of orgin doners (Honda, Suz, Kawi, Yam, Ducati) get the best of everything.

Audi, whatever I like the best when I go to the dealer

BMW, same as Audi

Thats it for cars.

"You know what I would do if I had a million dollars? I would invest half of it in low risk mutual funds and then take the other half over to my friend Asadulah who works in securities..."

I voted some time back that I would travel the world. Yep, I would sell the dog, leave the cat take the wife and kids (you didn't think I would leave them??) and never see home for at least 2 years. I would eventually have to get a job to keep my sanity..probably keep detailing at my leisure..only taking clients who appreciate a quality detail job. Then I would return semi-annually to my homes in Europe and throughout the US keeping an eye on the prosperous Banks I have acquired. Enjoying life and my family..living off the interest..Sending my kids to the best colleges, owning the best automobiles, making sure my wife has anything she wanted (this way I will always be happy). Oh yeah, I'd buy stock in DetailCity, Poorboys and Autogeek...alot of stock.

I would have a nice big guitar collection with all those guitars that I drool over, but can't afford to buy.

RIGHT ON!!!! I share that dream with ya. I'm also right there with ya on the in home studio. I want a few different rooms and a control room though. I'd probably go to school so that I could use Pro Tools to it's full potential. I have the LE version now and I havent even begun to scratch the surface of what it can do in the few years I've been using it.

Since I wouldnt be working, I'd spend every morning in the gym. I rise a little before 6am now to get a cardio or ab session (alternate) in every morning before work (and it's rough getting up too) and hen I do weight training AFTER work. If I wasnt working, I'd could spend more time trying to make myself sore. :D

After working out and showering, I'd probably look for some way to volunteer my time. It's really hard to volunteer when you work full time and I think it's something that really does enrich your life. Just giving money is one thing, but when you're actually down in the trenches making a difference...well that's an amazing feeling.

Cars: As far as cars go, I'd finally be able to get the Corvette that I've wanted since I was a wee lad. You didnt put a time frame on when I would acquire my wealth, so if it happened today, I'd have a brand new Z06. If it happens in the future, I'd have whatever the top of the line baddest Corvette is at the time. In addition to that, I'd fix up my Impala exactly how I want it and I'd probably buy an SUV or 4 door fullsize pickup. I'd use it to haul stuff (tow vehicle..incase I break at the race track) and my dogs ofcourse. :D
