So after not getting to really see anything at SEMA for the week I was there (no regrets about that either) I have to say that out of all the cars I DID see, this is by far my favorite. I don't know what it is about it, but this is absolutely how I feel the Mustangs should look.
I think it is just a flat satin sort of finish with flat black stripes. I know there isn't anything you can really do for the flat paint, but is there anything you can do for the satin finishes? I wouldn't want a car out there in the elements without some sort of protection from IFO or bird crap or waterspots, etc... Or would this just be something solely for show?
I saw last year that 3M has a wrap that gives factory paint this appearance. I don't know if that is what was on this car (kind of walked by it quick on the way to the booth) but that would work too. Then it is just typical clear bra maintenance on the entire vehicle. I could do that. Wrap the whole car and then use a flat vinyl for the stripe on top. Absolutely a car I would love to have on a poster in my garage. Desktop wallpaper will have to do for now.
