Keeper of the beautiful
A very large property that I have a contract with is having an "Earth Day" event on April 22. The tenant services manager asked for my company to set up and participate(OF COURSE I WILL!). She is aware that I recycle waste water and as of this week I also use ONR. She could see why my company would most likely appeal to environmentally conscience tenants.
I've had this property for a few months and have not been able to really take advantage of the potential business(there are 6k tenants in this gated park). I see this as a great chance at getting known by many more that could be my clients.
The event will be from 11:00am-2:00pm. There will be a DJ announcing the winners of any raffles, food and dedicated space for contracted vendors. I am the only detailer.
I want to voice some ideas and get some feedback.
I will set up a 10x10 tent, with a table that has displays on it. I will have something visible that says "Why (company name)?" which will explain the reasons why my company is the best choice for their car care needs. Such as(seeing how it's earth day start with the environmental reasons) how:
-we recycle our waste water and also how ONR uses only a few gallons of water per wash.
-The products used are environmentally safe.
-We use proper car care technique that keeps your car looking better for longer.
-We use superior products compared to what a drive-up wash uses.
-The convenience of someone caring for their car while they work, instead of having to wait or have someone pick them up and drop them off.
I will raffle off a $100 gift certificate from my company. Which is basically enough for an int/ext wash and wax. But on the raffle sheet I will ask for this info. While $100 gift card isn't all that to me, to most people that's a bangin wash. But nothing's free.:har:

year/make/model of your car:
How often do you take your car to have someone wash or detail your car?
On a scale of 1-5, 5 being the best, how happy are you with the quality of the job done on your car?
How much do you typically spend on car washes and car details in a month?
I am up in the air about the last question.
This:
Are you interested in getting a price on a monthly maintenance package?
or
Are you interested in hearing when we have specials?
I think one or the other will do. Either would tell me a lot. But I think the latter is better. I could call/email someone who answered yes to the specials question with a quote on a monthly package as well as specials. But I think calling someone beyond the initial monthly package call would be distasteful(about the other question).
There will be current flyers and business cards. A services list. Somewhere out there I will note that I also do house calls.
That's the gist of my idea. What do you think? Gimme ideas.
